Workshop: Glass Fusing & Artglass Platters- This is a hands-on introductory class to the fusing process, with no prior experience needed. You have seen beautiful glass platters in galleries, now design your own! We will briefly discuss the types of glass used in fusing and the workings of kilns. You will then create your own unique glass to be fused into a sheet. The studio will slump your glass into a one of a kind platter. Class fee includes a glass allowance, the use of our tools, glass mold, and the 18 hours of firing time. Come prepared to have a good time! Limited to 4 students. Instructor: Toni Sowa. Fee: $199.
