Nanuet Civic Association

The next meeting of the Nanuet Civic Association will be at 7:15 PM on
Thursday May 2nd in the Community room(2nd floor) of the Nanuet Public Library on Church Street in Nanuet.

Thanks to our members who turned out for “The Great American Clean Up”- It takes a lot of work to keep our hamlet looking good.
The guests for our May meeting reflect the arrival of the new season.
Clarkstown Parks Dept’s “Chip” Cottington will update us on the wide variety of events and activities offered by Clarkstown in the upcomingseason.


Brian Condon from the Nanuet Little League will give a presentation on this important part of our community. Has anyone had a kid not involved in
Little League ?
Town Councilman George Hoehmann will tell us about an innovative and money saving proposed “solar power” project envisioned for the landfill.
Of course our usual guests :
Legislators/Councilmen/Police/Highway/Fire
Departments will be on hand to answer questions.
Jim Flynn is always a good source of information on developments with the Chamber of Commerce,Town Council and School Board, and envisioned Zone changes.
Preparations are being made and volunteers are needed for “Nanuet Family Fun Day” on June 1st at the Nanuet Outdoor Education Center.
Come on out …bring a neighbor…Bring your questions and concerns.
