"The Music Man"

St. Anthony's Parish Players keep their tradition of excellence alive with this year's production of Meredith Willson's "The Music Man." Paying homage to "Smalltown, USA," this show centers on the flim-flam con-artistry of salesman, Harold Hill, a role made famous by the incomparable Robert Preston on Broadway. Seeking to ply his trade to the gullible residents of River City, Iowa, "Professor" Hill discovers that the stubborn Iowans have actually evoked a change in him. A true example of family entertainment, "The Music Man" is heart-warming, funny, quirky and romantic. Three performances will be given at the St. Anthony School Auditorium on Friday & Saturday evenings, April 20, 21 at 8 pm, and Sunday afternoon, April 22 at 3 pm.
