Easing the RCC transition for special needs students

The workshop “Transition to Rockland Community College for Students with an IEP or 504 Plan,” is on February 8 at Rockland BOCES Conference Center, Building #10 at 65 Parrott Road in West Nyack from 7- 9 p.m.

Special needs students and families will learn about support services at RCC, guidelines for disability documentation, and postsecondary disability laws.

This session is part of a series offered through Rockland BOCES Student Services Division, in partnership with the Rockland Transition Consortium. These monthly workshops link families to resources for the transition from school to work and/or postsecondary programs, from children’s services to adult services, and from home to the community.
