Rabbi Reuven Hammer
Rabbi Hammer is a Conservative Rabbi, scholar of Jewish liturgy and world renowned author.
He is the founder of the Masorti Conservative Movement in Israel, a past president of the International Rabbinical Movement in Israel and a past president of the International Rabbinical Assembly. He is currently a member of the committee on Jewish Law and Standards. Rabbi Hammer has written many books that we use in Conservative synagogues today including commentary on the Siddur, prayer book, High Holidays, and the Torah. Rabbi Hammer will be speaking about his new book which is the same as the title of the lecture.
