Felony DWI Charge after Thruway Stop

The 28-year-old has a prior conviction for driving drunk.

State police stopped a vehicle on the New York State Thruway at 11 p.m. Friday for a traffic violation.

The driver, Travis P. Campbell, 28, was intoxicated, police allege.

He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown. Investigation found the Bronx resident has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years; as a result he was charged with:

Campbell was released on tickets to a sober third party with a return court date of April 14, 2017 in the Town of Ramapo Court, police said.
