SPRING VALLEY, NY — Firefighters from Nanuet and Spring Valley were called to a blaze at the Russian Orthodox Convent on Smith Road at 6:30 a.m.Wednesday. Nanuet fire officials said the blaze was <a href="http://www.nanuetfd.org/apps/public/news/newsView.cfm?News_ID=143" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">out</a> by 8:30 a.m. There were no injuries, Clarkstown police reported.
