Music for Aardvarks Family Drop In Class

- Why Go: Sing, dance, and have a blast at our weekly drop in dance party.

Music Makers Presents: Songs of the World
- When/Where: Sunday, January 8, 2:00 pm/24 Chestnut St, Spring Valley
- Why Go: The Music Makers are a troupe of male and female seniors who entertain audiences with a blend of musical performances and comedic acts.

- When/Where: Thursdays, Jan 5, 12 and 19 from 7 to 8 p.m./Willow Tree Yoga Studio, 17 Whispering Court, Bardonia
- Why Go: Free program presented by the Clarkstown Family Resource Center. Life is busy, and it can be hard for mothers and daughters to slow down and spend focused time with each other. This mother-daughter yoga class is a perfect way to spend some quality time with your daughter and connect through a shared experience. You will have a chance to practice individual yoga poses, meditation, and relaxation exercises, as well as learning some fun partner yoga poses. You will both gain confidence in your bodies, learning to accept and love how you are, no matter what size or shape you are.

- Why Go: Wee Play is hosting a fundraiser for the Clarkstown Education Foundation. The third annual event includes a raffle for a Nintendo 3DS.

Video Games and Pizza for Teens
- When/Where: Nanuet Public Library; 4-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6
- Why Go: All teens play video games and love pizza. Why not get them involved with other kids their age who like the same thing? The Teen Video Game Club meets regularly at the Nanuet Library. They compete with on Wii, X-Box 360 and PS3 systems provided by the library. Other games and activities are also available. Games to be played are determined at Teen Advisory Board Meetings or by submitting your suggestions in advance to Suzanne at the Adult Reference Desk at the Nanuet Library.

Toddler Family Fun
- When/Where: 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Jan. 7-28 at the Nanuet Library
- Why Go: Join Kurt Gallagher for a toe-tappin’, hand-clappin’ good time! For kids all ages not yet in kindergarten. Tickets are required. Please take tickets for each week you would like to attend. Tickets are available now for Nanuet cardholders and are available starting Jan. 5 for out-of-district cardholders.
- Cost/Contact: Free, Nanuet Library
- When/Where: 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in Pearl River Public Library’s community room.
- Why Go: Delores Jiji and her guitar, Sally, provide musical fun aimed at children ages two through five. Adults stay for the entertainment.

Register for Story Times, Weekly Events at Pearl River Library
- When/Where: Continues through Friday at Pearl River Public Library.
- Why Go: Interested in enrolling your child in Story Time for 3-to-6-year-olds or any of the other weekly child-friendly activities the Pearl River Public Library offers? Go to the children’s room to find the flier with dates, times and descriptions of upcoming events.
