Fundraising for a LGBT Center in Rockland

A group of Rocklanders are working on getting an LGBT Center for Rockland County.

The purpose of the Rockland County Pride Center will be to support and celebrate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender community, challenge stereotypes and practices that adversely impact the LGBT community, and provide a wide range of services to ensure equitable resources and opportunities for all – with no exceptions.

New City-based Rockland County Pride is a project of VCS Inc. which has been serving Rockland County, NY and surrounding communities since 1970. VCS is a 501(c)3 counseling and family service agency with an anti-racist, social justice mission.

The Rockland County Pride Center is a component fund of the Rockland Community Foundation, a registered 501c3 charitable organization. All donations to this fund are tax deductible as permitted by law.
