  • The Penguin Rep Theatre has its last showing of a comedy adventure "Around the World in 80 Days" this Labor Day weekend. New York Times gave positive reviews and showings are Thursday - Sunday. Book online today before it's gone!
  • Hudson Highland Cruises has two-hour cruises on Sunday sailing from Haverstraw Marina and up to Bear Mountain Bridge. There are crafts for children and a senior discount if they come with a grandchild. For rates and times or to RSVP, call 845-534-7245 and pay online through paypal or in person with cash.
  • Suffern's Street Fair is Sunday 10am - 5pm. Presented by the Suffern Chamber of Commerce, more than 100 vendors offer great merchandise and food. Three bands will be there to provide music and entertainment. This event will be on Lafayette Ave, Suffern and for more information, 845-357-8424.
  • Roll down the windows and take a nice drive while the weather's still good. End at the DePew House and learn a little history about our local heroes. The Orangetown Historical Museum & Archives presents "Our Lives in their Hands; Fire, Police & Emergency Services" exhibition  is here through November 7 every Tuesday 10-2pm and Sundays 1-4pm.   • Step back in time at the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site open all Labor Day weekend. There's a museum on the battlefield, a lighthouse, picnic tables and a soldier's camp with artillery drills conducted on the site's cannon at 3pm weather permitting. The Site is located off Route 9W and is open Wednesday - Saturday 10am - 4:30pm and Sundays noon - 4:30pm until October 31. Weekends and holidays have a parking fee of $5.
