Hazardous Weather Outlook for Nanuet Friday

It’s finally here in full effect, the heat wave you’ve been hearing about for almost a week now.

Yes, temperatures will be in the 90s, and yes, it will be humid, but there is also severe weather predicted in the forecast on Friday.

Rockland County is not only under an Air Quality Alert but also a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Friday for strong to severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and early evening. The main threat is large hail and damaging wind gusts, according to the National Weather Service.

Once we get past today’s thunderstorms, it will be a sunny weekend, but very hot with temps continuing in the low to mid 90s.
