Hi Tor's Pet of the Week: Jada

Jada is a 5-year-old pit bull mix surrendered to the shelter after she jumped out of a window and her owners could not afford medical help for the damage caused to her legs. We got her the medical treatment she needed; she is now on the mend and ready for her new home. Jada came to the shelter a bit on the nervous side but has warmed up quite nicely since then. We think she would do best in a house with older kids. She is not good with cats but good with some dogs, so she’s dog-selective. She is a smallish, calm, quiet girl who enjoys going out for walks and being petted.
