Holiday Transit Alert: Schedule Changes in Rockland County

Rockland County has issued transit schedules for Memorial Day—Monday, May 25—and early getaway commuter service on Friday, May 22.

Friday, May 22, Early Getaway Commuter Service:

Transport of Rockland (TOR), TAPPAN ZEExpress (TZx) and TRIPS paratransit buses will operate regular weekday service.

• Coach USA Express (Shortline) bus service from the Exit 14 Park & Ride lot will operate regular morning and evening service. Additional early getaway buses will be added at 2 pm from 56th Street & 5th Avene and at 2:30 pm from Wall Street.
• The Port Jervis Line will add an additional train departing Hoboken at 2:45 pm and Secaucus Junction at 2:55 pm. The train that normally departs Hoboken at 6:11 pm and Secaucus Junction at 6:21 pm will be cancelled.
• NJT trains on the Pascack Valley Line and Main/Bergen Line will operate regular Friday schedules.
• The Haverstraw‐Ossining Ferry will meet an earlier Metro‐North train departing Grand Central Terminal at 2:51 pm.

Memorial Day ‐ Monday, May 25:

• TZx and TOR buses will operate Saturday service, except that TOR Loop #1 and Loop #2 will operate regular weekday schedules.
• TRIPS Paratransit buses will operate A.D.A. service only.
• Coach USA’s Rockland Coaches (Red & Tan Lines) local bus routes #9, 9W, 11‐A and 20 will operate Sunday schedules. Commuter express routes 45, 47 and 49 will not operate.
• Coach USA Express (Shortline) buses from the Exit 14 Park & Ride will not operate.
• Saddle River Tours/AmeriBus route 11C will not operate.
• Coach USA’s Shortline buses and Monsey Trails buses will operate a Holiday schedule.
• Clarkstown Mini Trans, Spring Valley Jitney and the Haverstraw‐Ossining Ferry will not operate.
• Metro‐North’s Hudson Line and Port Jervis Line trains will operate Sunday schedules.
• NJ Transit trains will operate Weekend schedules on the Main/Bergen Line and on the PascackValley Line.
