Hudson Valley Integrated Medicine moves to Nanuet

They're holding a Grand Opening Sept. 17.

Hudson Valley Integrated Medicine has moved from Nyack to larger offices at 300 E Route 59 in Nanuet.

HVIM offers acupuncture, physical therapy, osteopathy, physical medicine and rehabilitation (also known as physiatry), and herbal medicine.

As the country undergoes an opiod epidemic, largely fueled by pain medications, the National Institute of Health's pain consortium has recently come out with a large study showing that there is a growing body of evidence that acupuncture, manipulation, hypnosis and yoga may help to manage many painful conditions.

Dr. Joshua Lehman, D.O., a board certified physiatrist and osteopath who can help your musculoskeletal problems. He is a diagnostician who is skilled in osteopathic manipulation, acupuncture, joint injections when needed and Platelet Rich Plasma treatments when indicated. As well, he can do EMGs (electromyography) to diagnose nerve damage.

Dr. Naomi Pelzig, M.D. has been a holistic primary care doctor doing acupuncture and herbal medicine for more than 25 years. She has also spent many years studying meditation, yoga, Tai Qi , and functional/nutritional medicine. She has a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and complementary approaches to relieving the impact of stress on the functioning of the body. As well she has helped many women with fertility issues become pregnant on their own and helped IVF success with acupuncture.

Mark BelnicK, L.Ac and Marcel Zeien, L.Ac are HVIM licensed acupuncturists who have many years of experience helping patients with musculoskeletal pain and many other medical conditions. Mark is knowledgeable about Chinese herbs and Marcel has years of experience with meditation and yoga.
