Huge Crowd at La Terrazza for a Ladies Night Out
The Nanuet High School PTSA hosted ladies night at La Terrazza last night.
As the end of the school year nears, fundraising efforts are put into high gear. Last night the Nanuet High School PTSA hosted their annual ladies night fundraiser.
The event began at 7 p.m., but by 7:15 p.m. the parking lot was already full, with cars parking across the street. The turnout was great. Everyone interested in supporting their students.
"So many vendors donated their products for our raffle. The businesses were all very generous. Everything goes towards Project Graduation," said co-vice President of the PTSA, Florence DiModugno.

"Verizon Wireless donated this whole package, with a brand new Droid phone!" added Patti Roth, a 'very devoted' parent according to DiModugno.
There was an entire room donated to the raffles and prizes. The line went out the door with ladies buying lengths of raffle tickets. The 69 prize baskets were displayed around the room also, filled with all sorts of items from gift certificates to wine to gardening tools to a signed Jets football and beyond.

"I put together all the baskets myself, except one. I started in January and worked until last night. I have a freshman and a senior in the high school this year. I figured it was a good time to put in a lot of effort for the students," said Donna Drygas, PTSA member.
"She did an amazing job," added PTSA co-Vice President Susan Cooke.
Last year's PTSA president and members made an appearance also.
"It's great to get everyone together. It doesn't happen to often, and it's for a good cause," said Sue Stabile.
"This is a great event. In past years, we have raised a ton of money. The raffles are great for fundraising," said Patty Politano from last year's PTSA.
Check out the PTSA's next event on April 11th. At Nanuet High School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. there will be a Cash for Gold fundraiser. Get rid of those mis-matched earrings in your jewelry box and support a good cause!
