ICE Arrests Hudson Valley Resident Wanted For Murder In Mexico
He came to the attention of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials after a DWAI conviction in Suffern Village Court.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — A Mexican national accused of murder in his own country was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations officers, officials announced Friday.
Abdiel Dela Garza-Hernandez came to their attention after he was convicted Aug. 9 in Suffern Village Court of driving while impaired by the consumption of alcohol, ERO officials said. The court sentenced him to pay a $300 fine and suspended his driver’s license for 90 days.
ERO officials described him as an unlawfully present, noncitizen, foreign fugitive who is wanted in Mexico for homicide.
