CLARKSTOWN, NY — A Spring Valley man is accused of driving drunk on Independence Day. On July 4, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Jean Desroches, 26. He was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Troopers said their investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss.
