Riding with Sunshine is the first short SAG approved film by independent filmmaker Kristian Comer of Rockland County New York. It’s based on real life events. It’s about two friends, Mario and Vikki, and how one day changes Vikki’s views of the world. It deals with gripping social injustice themes that are deeply relevant and were addressed in a profound and artistic manner. It was selected by PopUp Anthology, Women’s Only Entertainment Film Festival, Movies4Movies, Bright Grove Screening Series and was nominated for awards by Chautauqua International Film Festival for best supporting actress(Kristian Comer), and The Brightside Tavern Shorts Fest for best supporting actor (Rahiem Wilson Morgan) and best original concept. It also screened at the NAACP of Spring Valley and Suffern Free Library. Kristian herself was awarded an merit award by The Town Of Clarkstown and The Irish Echo for her filmmaking. It is now making its amazon prime run starting July 29th.
