NANUET, NY — A mother of five in Nanuet is in the fight of her life against Stage 3 adenocarcinoma. So Moe's Southwest Grill of Long Island, where Rosa Narvaez is a manager, created a fundraiser on GoFundMe to help her provide for her family while she's undergoing months of chemotherapy.

She was diagnosed in December, the organizers said.

On January 12th Rosa had her uterus removed and biopsy results came back positive for cancer. She is currently going through chemotherapy treatment for the next 5 months all while still trying to provide for her family. We are asking for your help and generosity during such a difficult time for Rosa and her family. Please consider helping and donating as much as your means may allow. Thank you.

Folks at the restaurant have a conservative goal of $20,000, and in three days they've raised $5,555.
