Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert Located: UPDATE
Police said the man was likely in need of medical attention.

NANUET, NY — Clarkstown police said Wednesday morning that Philip McDermott had been located, uninjured, in Yonkers. He will be reunited with his family, police said.

NANUET, NY — Clarkstown police are searching for a man missing from Nanuet in Rockland County. Philip McDermott, 78, is a missing vulnerable adult with a memory loss condition. He may be in need of medical attention.

McDermott was last seen on Oakland Place in Nanuet at 8:30 a.m Wednesday, Aug. 22.
He was driving a 2004 white Ford Focus with New York registration AMU-7047.

McDermott was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve button-down shirt, tan pants and black shoes.
He is a white man who is 6 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds. His hair is gray and his eyes are blue.
McDermott may possibly be traveling to Connecticut.
