Nanuet Celebrates High School's Designation as National Blue Ribbon School
Nanuet students, educators, families and community work hard to create safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging content.

NANUET, NY — U.S. Secretary of Education John B. King Jr. designated Nanuet Senior High School as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2016, and both a national and a community celebration are scheduled for November.
Nanuet Senior High School was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing School” as measured by performance on assessments referenced against national norms.
“Being selected as a Blue Ribbon School is an incredible honor," Nanuet School District Superintendent Dr. Mark S. McNeill said. "It validates and confirms our dedication to excellence and continuous improvement in our district. The exemplary performance as a high school would not be possible without the commitment of such a professional group of faculty members, a committed contingency of parents and diligent students. We are honored to be considered one of the top high schools in the nation.”
