Nanuet Fire District Holds Annual Organizational Meeting
Commissioner, Treasurer and Secretary are sworn in for 2012.
The Nanuet Fire Engine Company held its 2012 organizational meeting on Tuesday evening at which 28 agenda items were addressed. The meeting opened with the swearing in of Commissioner Harold Straut for a five year term, followed by the swearing in of Secretary Socky Trojhan and Treasurer Bob Lacy.
Agenda items included the approval and acceptance of elected line officers as follows:

It was also decided to move the company’s regular monthly meeting time to 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. Also approved were salary raises for the positions of Secretary and Treasurer that were judged commensurate with an increase in the time required by both those positions.
The meeting was attended by Chairman Harold Straut and Deputy Chairman Domenick Giovinazzo as well as Commissioners John Reilly and Vincent Pacella. Commissioner and Secretary Socky Trojhan and Treasurer Bob Lacy were also in attendance.
