Nanuet Home Being Renovated Goes Up In Flames
Police and firefighters were called at midnight.
NANUET, NY — A fire called in just after midnight Friday burned through a home undergoing renovation on Harold Street. Orangetown police said the house, including the deck, was on fire when they arrived.
The Pearl River Fire Department fought the blaze with help from Nanuet, South Spring Valley and West Nyack firefighters. The New City Fire Department stood by in Pearl River.
Orangetown police said the town's fire inspector and the Rockland County Bureau of Criminal Investigation's arson unit were investigating.
