Nanuet Lions Club starts their scholarship program
Club awards three $500 scholarships to students.

Students interested in the Nanuet Lions Club's 2010-2011 scholarship program will soon be able to get their applications started.
The club is set to announce the essay question that's part of the scholarship application in the last week of September. Students have until Jan. 15, 2011 to submit 500-word essays.
A four-person panel will judge and select three essays to win $500. The topic usually is related to leadership or community service.
