Nanuet Man Faces Marijuana Charge in Pearl River
Orangetown police said he was stopped July 26 for a traffic violation.

Matthew J. Carter, 27 was charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5th degree (misdemeanor).
Carter was stopped on Townline Road in Pearl River for a traffic violation at 5 p.m. July 26. A plastic bag containing approximately 27.4 grams of marihuana was found in the vehicle, police said.
The Nanuet resident was released on $200 bail pending a court date in Orangetown on Aug. 5.
