Nanuet May See Some Rain This Week

NANUET, NY — The Hudson Valley hasn’t seen a forecast like this one in a while.

We might see rain fall during a five-day period of time beginning Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Now don’t let me overstate that, no one is talking about five days of straight downpours or anything like that. But right now there's a slight chance of rain at some point each day. The best is right at the beginning of the week, 90 percent for Monday night, and then building again at the end of the week.

"A welcome thought for the Hudson Valley," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

The clouds will bring something else with them — smaller temperature swings after midweek. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are the only days when high temps will get into the 70s, with an overnight low in between in the 40s. Thursday and Friday, the highs and lows will only swing about 10 degrees.
