Nanuet, Nyack School Budget Vote Results

Nyack's voters approved a $80.7 million school spending plan with a 2.7 percent increase in spending by a vote of 570 yes to 168 no.

Budget development will support or expand programs such as Fresh Start, Student Mentoring, High School and Middle School Drama, Athletics, The Marching Band and the Music Department.

In Nanuet, voters approved the $70.9 million spending plan for next year by a vote of 401 yes to 160 no. It is 4.7 percent higher than current spending, but the tax levy is expected to decrease by about 3 percent.
