Nanuet School Trustees Propose 1.14% Spending Increase

The budget goes before voters May 21.

NANUET, NY — Voters in the Nanuet school district will have their say on the budget for the 2019-20 school year at the polls May 21.

The proposed spending package is $74,053,750, up 1.14% from the current year. The budget would increase the tax levy by 2.1 percent.

Nanuet officials have posted the district's fiscal accountability report card on the website. Included in its data are the estimated 2019-20 salaries for the superintendent, deputy superintendent and the assistant superintendent for business/school attorney:
