Nanuet Schools Announce Kindergarten Registration
Here's how to register your child for the 2016-17 school year

Starting in February, the Nanuet School District will hold registration sessions for incoming kindergarteners.
Any child who will be 5 years of age on or before Dec, 1, 2016, and who also meets residency requirements, is eligible to begin kindergarten at the start of the 2016-17 school year.
A letter and registration packet will be mailed home in the end of January to potential students. To be included in the mailing, or to confirm eligibility, call the Registrar at 845-627-9883 or email kmaier@nanuetsd.org.

Some of the documents necessary to complete registration include a birth certificate with a raised seal or other official documentation providing date of birth, a record of immunizations, physical and dental check-ups and proof of residence. The complete list of required documents is included in the registration packet, along with five registration sessions available during the month of February.
When the incoming students have completed registration, parents/guardians will then receive information about their parent orientation sessions, school visitation days and kindergarten screenings.
