New Eagle Scout For Troop 78 In Nanuet

Bergen Catholic High School junior Louis Anthony Orlando of Troop 78 in Nanuet was celebrated in November at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

His community service project included the revitalization and beautification of an old, cracked, unsafe patio at the Tolstoy Foundation in Valley Cottage. The patio is now safe and handicapped accessible for the veterans and patients of the Tolstoy Foundation to enjoy.

“I would like to congratulate Troop #78's newest Eagle Scout, Louis Orlando,” said County Executive Ed Day. “To give some idea of how tough it is to attain the rank of Eagle Scout, Louis is just the 85th Eagle Scout of Troop #78 in its 30 year history!”
