NHS Spring Concert Fills Auditorium
The Nanuet High School spring concert took place at 8 p.m. on May 17 at the NHS auditorium.
The Nanuet School District is known for their fabulous arts and music department. At the end of every semester, the students prove this reputation through their performances in the winter and spring concerts.
Audiences were treated to an arrangement of music at this year's spring concert. Ranging from classical pieces such as the "Hallelujah" chorus and Handel concertos to fast paced swing pieces such as "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It ain't Got that Swing), the NHS music department's performance was on key and beautiful.
"My daughter played bass for the first concerto," said Tim Lynn. "I'm very proud of her."
