Orangetown Cops Arrest Clarkstown, Spring Valley Men

Orangetown police report two arrests made after midnight April 29 at 102 Main St. in Nyack.

A Spring Valley man faces charges of disorderly conduct and criminal possession of a weapon. Orangetown police said they were called there at 1:13 a.m. and found Darnell Ghee, 31, acting in a violent and tumultuous manner; and they say they found a gravity knife on him when they arrested him.

Thirty minutes later a Clarkstown man was charged with felony criminal mischief. Police said Antoine Tapia, 31, damaged several pieces of equipment.

Tapia was sent to the Rockland County Jail. Ghee was released on bail, police said.
