People To People Receive Check For $4000 To Help Rockland County Residents

From The Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation: The Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation, the charitable arm of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®, recently presented a check for $4,000 to People to People in Nanuet. People to People, Rockland County’s largest food pantry, is working to help struggling Rockland County residents through difficult times with dignity through is many programs providing food and clothing for children and adults. Last year, People to People provided assistance to nearly 14,000 Rockland households.

“All of us at People to People appreciate this significant contribution from the Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation,” said Diane Serratore, People to People Executive Director. “For decades, area realtors have supported the efforts of People to People to feed Rockland’s hungry. This donation from Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation continues this important relationship as we work together to continue to make our community a better place for everyone.”

People to People is one of 17 local Hudson Valley charities benefitting from The REALTOR® Foundation, which raised more than $30,000 at its September “Monte Carlo Night Gala” at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle. Established in 2004 and relaunched in 2013, the Foundation has donated thousands of dollars to charities and non-profits throughout the Hudson Valley. As concerned members of the communities we work in, the Hudson Gateway REALTOR® Foundation participates in qualified community-based charities who serve the housing, hunger, health, happiness, and humane needs of citizens everywhere.
