Plan your Best Year Program helps Executives & Meals on Wheels

For entrepreneurs and business executives the holidays can be a busy time for parties and networking, but it can also provide an opportunity to review what happened in the past 11 months and plan for the coming year. Risa B. Hoag, President of GMG Public Relations, is offering one-on-one planning and strategy sessions titled "Plan Your Best Year!" for business owners and executives to review:

• company and/or personal goals
• target audiences
• marketing messages
• website strategy and SEO
• social media platforms
• collateral material, brochures, ads, etc.
• personal visibility program

During the two hour session, executives will gain a greater understanding of what is working with their communications program and what's not and discuss strategies for improvement. Executives will also review their LinkedIn profile and hear strategies for using this free networking tool.

Finally, with Risa, participants will develop a Personal Visibility Plan™ to increase their presence in the community and to the target markets they want to reach.

A significant donation will be made to Meals on Wheels for each session booked and participants can sign up for one or a series of 4 to take place during 2018.

Risa Hoag has 30 years of experience in public relations and marketing. Prior to founding GMG Public Relations in 1991, she was a Director of Public Relations with Ernst & Young. Risa is a founder and the current President of the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and serves as Executive Vice President for the Rockland Business Women's Network (RBWN) as well as a board member for Meals on Wheels. Risa was selected to be a mentor through The Gerald P. Buccino Center for Leadership Development at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business and is serving a third term in that position. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a recognized seminar leader, presenting numerous public relations, marketing and social media workshops. An accomplished business writer and source, Risa has appeared on area radio and television programs and has been quoted and featured in national and local publications. She is the creator and co-host of The Bigger Picture, now streaming on Facebook every Friday morning. She is a member of the 2018 Class of Leadership Rockland and was the recipient of the RBWN Service Woman of the Year Award in 2017.
