Police Accuse CT Duo of Shoplifting $2,587 in Goods from Sephora
The incident took place March 7.

Clarkstown police were called at 3:40 p.m. March 7 to Sephora, at the Palisades Mall, for a report of shoplifting.
Store employees said they had watched a man and woman taking clothing and accessories valued at $2,587. Alexander Daignault, 24 and Meghan Keating, 23, of Bethel, CT., were arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing.
They were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny 4th and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, both felonies. Keating was also charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor.

They were arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court, where bail was set at $10,000 for Daignault and $3,000 for Keating. They will return to court on March 11.
