UPDATE: Nanuet Woman Charged With Assault In Stabbing Of Her Boyfriend At Hotel
Bronx man, 21, recovering at Nyack Hospital after incident at Nanuet Days Inn.

A 21-year-old Nanuet woman is being held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City today on $25,000 bail on charges she stabbed her boyfriend during a fight in the parking lot of a Nanuet hotel, according to Clarkstown police.
The boyfriend, a 21-year-old Bronx man, is recovering in Nyack Hospital after emergency surgery early this morning for a stab wound to the abdomen, police said.
Police said Ciera Norfleet of 64 Second Ave., Nanuet, is charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon as a result of the 11:40 p.m. incident at the Days Inn on Route 59 in Nanuet. Police said Norfleet was arraigned this morning in Clarkstown Town Court in New City by Judge Rolf M. Thorsen and ordered held in the jail pending a hearing.

Police said the woman had cuts and bruises from the fight with her boyfriend. The boyfriend, police said, is charged with anything in connection with the fight.
Clarkstown police officers were sent to the Days Inn after the department recieved numerous calls about a fight in the parking lot. Police said that during the fight, Norfleet's car was damaged.

Police said they believe Norfleet took a kitchen knife from her car and used it to stab the Bronx man. Police said the Norfleet was found in the hotel parking lot, and the man was found wounded in a room at the hotel.
The man was taken by ambulance to Nyack Hospital, and Norfleet was taken to Clarkstown police headquarters in New City for questioning.
Police are uncertain about what prompted the fight.
