Police: Fake $100 Bills Passed At 2 Target Stores
Brooklyn woman arrested in incident at Spring Valley Marketplace.

At least eight fake $100 bills were passed at two stores in Rockland County over the weekend and a Brooklyn woman was arrested in connection with counterfeits discovered at one of the stores, according to Clarkstown police.
Police said four fake $100 bills were discovered on Saturday at the Target store at Palisades Center mall in West Nyack, and another four fake $100 bills were spotted at the Target store at the Spring Valley Maketplace in the Spring Valley section of Clarkstown.
In the Spring Valley Marketplace incident, police said Kedra Gaskin, 27, of Brooklyn, was arrested after a Target cashier noticed that the four $100 bills Gaskin was using to pay for $367 worth of household items were fake. Gaskin is accused of first-degree forgery, criminal possession of a forged instrument and petty larceny, police said.

Gaskin was arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court in New City and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $3,500 bail.
Police said the investigation into the counterfeit bills at the two Target stores is continuing.
