A 30-year-old New Jersey resident is accused of drunken driving on Route 303 in West Nyack, Clarkstown police said this morning. Justine Walker of Old Tappan, NJ, was spotted driving erratically on the northbound side of Route 303 at about 3 a.m. today and was stopped by a town police officer. Police said Walker failed a field sobriety test and was taken to police headquarters in New City, where she failed a chemical breath test for alcohol. Walker was released by police this morning pending an April 18 hearing on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated and several traffic violations.

The Nyack Famous Street Fair will be returning on Sunday, May 17 from 10 to 5 in downtown Nyack. This is the ultimate shopping and dining event you do not want to miss. The fair features over three hundred exhibitors, from four states with arts, crafts, new retail, home décor, and unique gifts set up in tents lining Main, Broadway and Cedar Streets. For the foodie’s festival foods of all kinds will be available including food trucks. Music will be located at the Gazebo on Main Street. Be sure to stop by the great restaurants and outdoor cafes with many offering fair specials. Nyack’s unique shops and boutiques are a must see. 
The fair is held rain or shine. No pets please. The Nyack Famous Street Fair has been held for over 50 years and has become a much-anticipated event that is looked forward to year after year.
