Question: Are You Still Haunted by the Tragic 2009 Taconic Accident?

Two years ago yesterday, Diane Schuler drove onto the Taconic State Parkway via the exit ramp on Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor.

Many questions remain as to why Long Island resident Schuler, who was driving a car with her daughter and three young nieces, chose to speed on a road while driving in the wrong direction.

The 36-year-old had a head-on-collision with another vehicle, killing three additional people.

Schuler, her daughter, three nieces—as well as the driver and two passengers of the other car involved—did not survive the crash.

On Monday, HBO premiered There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane," a documentary about the two-mile trip Schuler made on the road.

Footage of some of Schuler's last hours alive, including surveillance footage from her stop at a gas station, can be seen in the documentary. Several family members affected by the crash also share their thoughts.

Toxicology reports later revealed Schuler was legally drunk and had marijuana in her system.

Jackie Hance, the mother of the Schuler's three nieces who were also killed in the crash,  in Ladies Home Journal.

Hance is now expecting a fourth child.
