RAMAPO, NY — Ramapo High School students and staff were evacuated from the building Friday due to residue of an old chemical substance that was found when removing cabinets from the chemistry lab.
The Rockland County Hazmat team and fire departments were on the scene, Ramapo police reported. Two hours ago they recommended motorists use an alternate route to avoid the traffic delay.
