Rockland Man Faces DWI Charge In Tuxedo

Police alleged his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit at 9:35 p.m. Friday.

TUXEDO, NY — A 28-year-old Suffern resident who police said had a blood alcohol level of 0.24 percent, three times the legal limit, is due in Tuxedo town court Aug. 25 to face a charge of aggravated DWI.

Police said Tyler D. Biernesser was stopped at 9:35 p.m. Friday on I-87 in Tuxedo for vehicle and traffic violations.

Troopers concluded he was intoxicated. He was taken into custody, transported and processed at State police offices in Tarrytown, then released to a sober third party.
