Rockland's Department of Social Services Celebrates Adoption at Party in Nanuet

Each year, the Rockland County Department of Social Services’ (DSS) Children’s Services Unit acknowledges and shows their appreciation to the selfless families who have opened their homes and adopted foster child(ren). For the third year in a row, DSS staffers joined the Wendy’s restaurant chain in a celebration of National Adoption Month, which occurs each November.

DSS staff gathered on Wednesday, November 19th with foster children and families at three Wendy’s locations in Rockland County: West Haverstraw, Airmont and Nanuet. We thank the franchisees for donating free meals to DSS foster/adoptive families.
