Meet your new PTA board for Barr Middle School for the 2012-13 school year
The Barr Middle School Play "The Singing Cloak" is a new musical based on an African Tale written by Nanuet Music Teacher Michael Minard. It will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday nights in the middle school cafeteria.
There was a cake celebration during the school board meeting on Tuesday night to recognize these 14 individuals. If you see them, congratulate them or say your goodbyes and wish them luck!

This bright young man is heading south to set sail.
They'll be leaving July 1 for two weeks with a teacher and an assistant. They'll be sightseeing, visiting cultural places and a high school, experiencing a homestay, volunteering in a village, and much more
The Barr MS 5th Graders released trout on Friday and participated in several stations such as poetry, music, macro-invertebrate, art, hiking, gps-mapping and one with Naturalist Roy Hurd.
