Sheriff's Deputies Nab 2 Wanted on Warrants
One had been charged with felony drunk-driving and the other for possession of drugs with intent to sell.

Sheriff Louis Falco III announces two arrests on felony warrants.
- Vladimir Pierre, 31, was arrested on an outstanding felony bench warrant issued on Jan. 21, 2015 by Rockland County, County Court Judge Apotheker. The underlying charge: Driving While Intoxicated/with a Prior Conviction. The Spring Valley resident was arrested April 9 at JFK International Airport in Queens. He was transported back to Rockland by Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and is being held at the Rockland County Jail awaiting future court appearances.
- Matthew Geoghegan, 49, was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant issued by Rockland County Court. The underlying charge: two counts of third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. The Pennsylvania resident was arrested by Sheriff’s Department detectives April 9 in Monroe County, PA., brought back to Rockland and lodged in the County jail pending an appearance in County Court.
