Spring Valley Man Arrested in Rape, Robbery at Hotel in Westchester

SPRING VALLEY, NY — A Rockland man accused of raping and robbing a woman at a Westchester County hotel Jan. 4 has been taken into custody.

Tony Efese, 24, of Spring Valley, was identified as the suspect in the incident that occurred at the La Quinta Hotel on Saw Mill River Road in Elmsford, lohud.com said.

He was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree rape, both felonies.
