2 Spring Valley Residents Face New Year's DWI Charge

It was part of the state police holiday crackdown on drunk, impaired and distracted drivers.

CLARKSTOWN, NY — New York State police report the arrests of two Spring Valley residents on New Year's Day. It was part of their holiday crackdown on drunk, impaired and distracted drivers.

On January 1, 2018, State Police Montgomery, arrested Jessica Aponte, 40, of Spring Valley, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 1, 2018, State Police Haverstraw, arrested Jerry Blanc, 27, of Spring Valley, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 59 in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
