Police: Four Hit With Drug-Related Charges

Men charged after cars stopped in Orangetown, Clarkstown

State Police patrols in Rockland County led to drug-related charges against four men in two incidents in Orangetown and Clarkstown.

— Nicholas A. Riello, 22, of Stony Point, was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, Wednesday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Orangetown, according to State Police.

Riello was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, in the 9:10 p.m. incident. He was released pending a hearing in Orangetown Town Court in Orangeburg.

At the same time, Michael D. Wynne, 22, of Garnerville, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

— Jerriemy B. Chilson, 37, of Rhinebeck, and Arthur L. Harned, 45, of Cairo, NY, were both charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, on Wednesday on the New York State Thruway in Clarkstown, according to State Police.

The men were stopped on the northbound Thruway at about 3 p.m. They were released pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
