Stopped Using iPad on the Garden State, Sent to Rockland County Jail for Felony DWI
The Hamilton, NJ man had a prior drunk-driving conviction.

State police stopped a New Jersey man on the Garden State Parkway in Chestnut Ridge at 9:58 p.m. Dec. 19 because, they said, he was driving while using his iPad.
They concluded that Matthew S. Gregorowicz, 31, was intoxicated and took him to the State Police barracks in Tarrytown for processing (where he provided a breath sample of 0.09 percent BAC).
It was during the processing that the arresting trooper realized Gregorowicz had used another person’s identity to obscure the fact that he had a prior DWI conviction.
