Support The Troops

The Andy K and Friends Charitable Foundation is Supporting the Troops on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 9:30am at the Pearl River Elks.

The Andy K & Friends Charitable Foundation is giving back to the men and women who serve our country, sacrifice time with their families and risk their lives everyday to keep us safe.  Packages will be sent to military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We are inviting you to be a part of it.

On April 2 at 9:30 a.m. at the Pearl River Elks Lodge in Nanuet, they will be gathering to collect, pack and ship items to our soldiers overseas.

Here’s how you can help:

Letters of Appreciation

Thank a soldier.  It will only take a few minutes of your time, but is invaluable to our men and women overseas.  The soldiers enjoy receiving letters from the people back home and they especially get a kick out of letters from kids.  So write a letter or have your kids write a letter thanking them for their sacrifice.  Take it a step farther and ask your child’s class to write letters, too.  Each letter we receive will be included in one of the boxes sent overseas.

We would be happy to pick up letters from schools, please email info@andykandfriends.org to arrange.
