The Blessed Mother Sodality of St. Anthony's Parish has raised $3500. for People to People's Food Pantry & St Anthony's School Scholarships

The Blessed Mother Sodality of St. Anthony’s Parish in Nanuet raised $3,500.00 for the People to People’s Food Pantry and St. Anthony’s School Scholarships at their March 18th, 2017 annual St. Joseph Day Dinner. A meatless Lenten meal was served to 233 attendees.

Many local businesses donated to the event including the BJ’s of West Nyack, Capasso Family, Gregory Chiropractic, Sorce Funeral Home, DeCicco Family Market, Fairway Market of Nanuet, Rockland Bakery, Freihofers, ShopRite of Pearl River, Costco and Stop & Shop of Nanuet

St. Anthony’s volunteers included many sodalists, 8th graders from St. Anthony’s and Nanuet schools, and kitchen and custodial staff. High School students served the buffet.

The cooks for the event included Dina and Angela Capasso, Phyllis Corti, Rosalee Gallo, Aurora Grandinale, Diane Hennessy, Vera Mandarino, Barbara Peters, Betty Secondorf, and Marie Anaya
